Optiderm quickly treats dry and itchy skin. It contains two active ingredients, polidocanol and urea (urea).

No need for cortisone

Ointment: It is especially suitable for relieving smaller itchy parts of the body, such as the face and hands. Optiderm Cream is an oil-in-water formula with 25% lipids. It can be quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an unpleasant film on the skin.

Lotion: It is especially suitable for the treatment of larger itchy skin areas, such as legs and body and hairy skin. Optiderm Lotion is an oil-in-water formula with a lipid content of 25%. The thin lotion is quickly and completely absorbed by the skin.

High-fat cream: With high lipid content, it can relieve itching of particularly dry skin. Optiderm Fettcreme is an oil-in-water formula with a lipid content of 50%. The rich fat cream makes the skin feel pleasant and relaxes the skin significantly. It does not contain preservatives, fragrances and colorings.

Contains:

Polypolyphenol Optiderm

It has a local anesthetic effect on nerve fibers that cause itching. Due to its excellent anti-itch properties, dermatologists often use this active ingredient. Optiderm contains high-quality polyphenols with optimized properties. In a short time, Opterderm can significantly reduce itching or even completely eliminate itching.

In addition, Optiderm also contains moisturizing factors such as glycerin and urea (urea)

Urea

It is a natural substance and one of the best moisturizers: it helps the skin to bond with water. For dry skin, neurodermatitis, psoriasis or diabetes, the body's own urea content will be greatly reduced. Optiderm can make up for this deficiency: the skin regains its natural moisture and becomes smooth and soft.

glycerin

It is a popular and time-tested ingredient in cosmetics. It keeps the skin soft and strengthens the barrier function.

Fat-containing cream base

It can provide important fat to the skin, which can be quickly absorbed, so that the skin feels relaxed.

Optiderm does not contain fragrances and dyes, so it has good long-term durability. Optiderm fat cream also contains no preservatives.

Several common causes of dry and itchy skin

Dryness: Too frequent washing with soap or bubbles will cause normal skin to become permanently dry skin. Continuous contact with cleansers will remove fat and moisturizing factors from the skin. In some cases, dry eczema can occur.

Very low air humidity, such as prevalent in air-conditioned rooms or cold winter weather, can also dry the skin. When the skin is dry, it usually becomes tight and itchy.

Itchy aging skin

During the natural aging process, the skin increasingly loses its ability to store moisture.

The activity of skin glands is also reduced. The sebaceous glands produce less sebum and the sweat glands secrete less. The result is dry and itchy skin.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory, and intermittent disease. The silvery white scales usually have areas of itchy skin, especially on the elbows, knees, and hairline.

Itchy eczema

Dry eczema (dry eczema)

Atopic eczema (neurodermatitis)

Diabetic skin itching

Approximately 20% to 40% of diabetic patients have itchy skin. This is usually caused by the loss of body fluids caused by high blood sugar. Nerve damage caused by diabetes can also lead to reduced sebum and sweat production-the result is itchy, dry skin.

Kidney insufficiency and itchy skin:

Approximately 40% of patients with progressive renal failure also experience skin itching. One possible reason is the accumulation of metabolites in the body, which are no longer excreted through the kidneys.

As many as 50% of dialysis patients often experience itchy skin all over the body after washing their blood. Accompanying dry skin can also exacerbate itching.

Itchy skin from external factors :

Dry indoor air, stay in an air-conditioned room with low humidity, often wash or take a hot bath, be stressed, sweat, rough clothes, drink hot beverages and spicy food.
