Amino acids and proteins-the cornerstone of life

The human body contains up to 21% protein. There are approximately 80,000 protein building blocks, also called proteins. They are composed of millions of amino acids.
Amino acids have the basic functions of transport proteins (hemoglobin, myoglobin), connective tissue proteins (collagen, elastin), immunoglobulin (the body's own defense capabilities) and the basic structure of cell regeneration.

Our body depends on the supply of amino acids and food. The lack of a single amino acid will affect the formation of all dependent proteins. If the organism is under special stress (stress, exercise, disease), the demand for amino acids will also increase.
